Lots of trails both paved and dirt

The inside & outside of the Nature Center is full of great displays and cool interactive for young & old alike. Along some of the trails there are little learning signs about the different trees. We hiked one trail which was a little rugged for elders and stroller pushing, but it felt truly like a Nature Walk. It is close to the City but you think you are way out in the country side. Rolling grasslands, forests, bogs. Parking was ample. Pretty wide trails for social distancing. Winter time they groom it for winter activities. Great place to get outside with kids.

Many of the best trails begin from the nature center. Be sure to check out the eagle scout bird project (see pics)

Love this place!!!nA very clean and state of the art nature preserve. Paths are well maintained without taking away from surroundings. Multiple docks and a observatory deck are great features. There are multiple places to get a good view of the resident osprey and other waterfowl.

Very nice trails. Lots of ups and downs. Walking sticks help those who cannot climb hills that well.
