Overwhelming amount of everything to see. We love the variety of antique items that are demonstrated and on display. The kids love the train rides, the old fashioned store and buildings and being able to make the crafts. And it is all included. Great family tradition. The fresh homemade lefse is always a treat too

Took grand daughter (3) and she did not want to leave. I had to ride the carts first time, second time and third she went by herself. She went for corn and ice cream, but her biggest thrill would be to have been able to ride a tractor which she did not get to do.

I think this is actually really fun. It's old, so if you bring kids that are addicted to games then that won't turn out. But there are tractors and old buildings and shows. There's this little train thing that you can ride around itasca. There are a bunch of spots for food too. There is a campground across the street, not the biggest but it has a lot of trails around there which is really fun. Just letting you know, if you can't live without your phone this may not be the ideal place. There isn't good coverage at all around there. It's just in the middle of nowhere but that's kind of the point of this. I would recommend going here.

The Lake Itasca Family Music Festival is here every year, and it's fantastic! The facilities work out well for the cooking, workshops, and shows that happen all weekend. It's fun that even during the bluegrass festival, you get to see some of the old equipment and photographs in the buildings. Very nice place, though Google maps always sends people to a nearly-unused side entrance instead of the main one.
