Had a girls camping trip and this place was very cozy and the owners were exceptional. Restroom and shower area was always clean no matter what time you went. Only problem but no big issue is make sure you bring Ice, it isn’t sold on site. But the city of Lexington is only a short distance away so you can easily go get some without traveling to far away. Besides that this place still gets a 5 star rating. Love it.
We have found this little gem of a campground and is close to home. We have stayed her a couple of times and have come to love it. The managers are super friendly. We stay in a tent so knowing that there are always clean bathrooms is wonderful! [
Very nice quiet and clean campground, couldn't ask for a cleaner grounds, restrooms and showers. The park rangers are the most pleasant and patient people in the world. We've been coming here for years and just love everything about it.
Loved this campground. Bathrooms are super clean. Fun playground across the bridge. Loved the private little beach. The only thing I wish it had was some outhouses down by the tent camping. Its a long walk with kids to the bathrooms in the middle of the night
We love this campground. Been here a few times and always enjoy it. The owners are super nice too. If you need anything, the town of Lexington is only like 5 mins away, if that. If you buy firewood, they bring it right to your site. I love that. We just really enjoy it. It not your huge packed in state park. this one the sites are more spaced out with plenty of shade.
