I have been training with Marc for about 3 months now with a focus on improving my strength and conditioning. The results are awesome so far and I have become considerably stronger already from when I first started. Family/friends have definitely been noticing the improvement and I just feel stronger overall which is a great feeling. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their physique and overall health. There is no barrier to entry with this training program so do not feel deterred if you are a beginner because I was too.nnMarc is a great guy and very down to earth and he definitely knows his stuff. The workout regime is continuously changing to adapt to your needs and bring new challenges. The nutrition consulting is tailored specifically to your diet and schedule. Again, if you are looking to get stronger, lose weight, and just improve your overall health then I cannot recommend enough
If you are looking for a personal trainer, I would absolutely recommend Marc, independent of your current fitness level and your fitness goals. His, by appointment only, gym is conveniently located right of the highway in Wixom, MI. There is lots of parking available. And Marc is very flexible when making appointments and works around your schedule.nnWhen I first met Marc at his neat and clean gym, he sat me down and discussed my fitness goals and health history. I then had an initial trial workout session, in which he evaluated my current fitness level. This allowed him to tailor my workouts towards my fitness goals. He also gave me extremely helpful nutritional advice. I decided to sign-up for three months to give Marc a try. I could not have been happier with my decision - at the end of the initial three months I had lost 18 lb and my body fat had decreased by 3.8%! Marc made that possible with his knowledge, personality and his abilities to motivate me. I was so thankful for the goals he helped me achieve and I really enjoy working out with him that I have now been a regular client of his for the last 2.5 years.nnMarc mixes up the workouts each time, introducing new activities to target different muscle groups and to keep me on track to achieve my goals, which by the way he reevaluates on a regular basis. By doing this and by taking his role very seriously, he is always exceeding my expectations. And with his pleasant and contagious personality, and his ability to provide positive reinforcement, he is always able to push me to new limits. Training with him leaves me with strength, skills, and energy I didn't realize I could gain – and I therefore truly thank him for the ongoing positive impact he has on my life and me.
Marc’s passion for training and wellness is very evident in his approach to his clients. As he guides them in their training, he also educates them as to how their body responds to the exercise. This approach helps the clients understand the fundamentals as they begin to see results – it’s very much “interactive”.nWhat impresses me about Marc is his dedication in making his clients’ goals his own. He gets to know the client; he knows when they can advance in their training, he knows when to show patience, when to encourage, and most importantly, how to listen to the individual.nEven with Marc’s vast knowledge and education, he remains someone down to earth and a pleasure to work with! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as a personal trainer. You will succeed!
As a complete novice to fitness, I wanted to learn from a professional, but was a bit intimated by the idea of a personal trainer. Marc has been amazing and put all my hesitation at ease. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure to explain why certain movements are necessary and how they affect the body. He is also very good at modifying routines when necessary. Unlike other trainers I have seen, Marc is very detail-oriented. He will diligently make sure your form is correct before moving forward with the exercise and will closely monitor your trouble areas, which is very important in preventing injury.nnI've really enjoyed working with Marc so far. He knows exactly when to push harder and when to encourage me when I am doubting myself. You can tell that Marc is genuinely interested in all his clients. He is always willing to meet to discuss nutrition and very speedy with responding to emails. I think Marc lets his expertise speak for itself and is not one to push you for more sessions. I would highly recommend checking him out!
Marc is the real deal. He is very knowledgeable, and will push you beyond your mental and physical limits. There's no question Marc knows exactly how to train you to get the most out of your body and mind to achieve your goals. Whether that be lose weight, gain weight, gain mass, gain strength, whatever your goal is, Marc can help you get there.nnAdd to that that he teaches you exactly how to get your nutrition under control.nThe best part about working with Marc is how insightful he is. You learn just being there. He is so careful to explain what you are doing and why.nHe is always respectful and gets the best from you every workout. The real magic is I have lost almost 2 lbs a week while eating more (better, just more of it) and getting stronger. Throw in that my once high blood pressure is now back under control. Working out with Marc and Upper Echelon is one of the best decisions I’ve made in years.nBetter health, better fitness and a better life.
