Enrolled my son because he was getting bullied at Cooley elementary. Since the School was doing nothing to combat the bullying, he can now learn to defend himself and escape a bullying situation. It is great seeing him come home from school excited to go learn something new from his instructor. I also joined since I needed to get back into shape ;) It's working.

Coach John has been an amazing role model and influence for my son.nOur experience with the Fight Like A Warrior program has been very positive, both in the martial arts education and the improvements in behavior, built confidence, and focus for my child, age 6.

If you have the opportunity to train with this guy consider yourself lucky. My son and I trained with him for about 3 yrs. He truly is a ninja. He lives, breathes, and bleeds martial arts. He does not intimidate or belittle. No matter your level or the level you are seeking this guy will build your confidence as well as your skills. You will always walk away with more confidence than you came with. He is a well rounded truly good human being in every way. I can’t Thank him enough for what he brought to me and my sons lives.

Coach John was my daughter's coach for nearly 2 years. He is absolutely amazing with kids. To watch him with a group of children and keep them engaged and focused was phenomenal. He would go from child to child helping them cretic their technique in a positive way. He would help them work through whatever they were struggling with. We really wish he wasn't so far away to have him as a coach now. You won't be disappointed!? Nothing but positive reinforcement. On top of that he kept his class fun yet they were learning so much!

John is a terrific athlete and person. He is definitely the type of person you would want as a coach or a training partner. He was a big contributor to my growth when we were both training in bay city together.
