A gem of a find. Paid $17 per night for 3 nights. Cash or check only. The campground is first come, first serve. We showed up and half the campground was empty but the camp host said it has been a cuople months since they had any openings. So we lucked out showing up at the end of the season!nnLike many campgrounds in the Upper Peninsula, it's just partial hookups. Water and electric only. But there is a dump station. The water pressure was high at 70psi and you could really feel that pressure in the restrooms (which were clean).nnThe beach are is nice. We tried fishing but the water is so shallow and sandy that we didn't see any fish. But the kids had fun playing on the playground and running around on the grass.nnWe enjoyed several beautiful sunsets over the lake.nnCell service was strong at times then a little shaky at times.nnThe location is a bit far from much. Not many grocery stores or gas stations nearby so make sure you plan accordingly.

This park is on georgus Round Lake . Would recommend 4 wheel drive if you want to launch your boat at the ramp.

Hands down the best inland lake park I've ever been to. Super dog friendly. Helpful locals (thanks again Debbie for blowing up my inner tube!). The shallow swimming area is great for kids and lounging in the water. North Manistique Lake is crystal clear with a nice sandy bottom, and I didn't see a single piece of seaweed all day. An ice cream store and market are conveniently located right around the corner. Bathrooms were clean. Easy access parking. We went on the 4th of July and I could not believe that this spot wasn't packed. It truly was a perfect day!
