Not bad for a place to just shoot. Going to find others to be able to be outside and actually set up a target to practice with the kids. But to just have a place to go blast some rounds and have fun it's good enough for that. Kids and fun and I had fun teaching them and watching them. Great bonding time enjoying a fun hobby. Everyone is looking forward to the next time.
Thanks to the state and the DNR for the opportunity to enjoy this. I would like to set up a once or twice a year event to all pitch in to clean up the gun target area. It is shameful the way its being taken care of. The people that use it should bring a rake and clean up after themselves.
Very littered and dirty. Not much there. It's a decent place to shoot without fees, but it's not my favorite range. I wish there were more divisions between shooters and a cleaner range between the firing line and burm. Designated parking spaces would be a great bonus also.
Everybody for the most part has common sense. Pretty safe and no staff to bother you about certain firearm restrictions.
Good place to target practice. Though word is it may not be around much longer due to people trashing the place and not picking up after themselves.
