If I could leave zero stars I would. Charging 5.00 for a dozen eggs, trying to say that's the price everywhere! I left and purchased them for 1.99 at another convenience store.
This place is a great spot if you need a quick bite to eat or drink. The owner is super friendly and the store is dog friendly. Everything is obviously slightly cheaper if you buy online, but this is where you want to go in a bind.
In the current situation, East Side Mini Mart is a lifesavers. Wide range of needed items, no crowds, helpful staff!
The place has a minimum of 5 dollars for using cards. I went there for something of 2 dollars and did not bring cash. The owner kindly lent me 2 dollars, saying that I can return later.
I don't live in the immediate area but when I'm around Brown and need something (food, coffee, milk, or school supply or snack) I always go here. I never fail to leave satisfied with my purchase and warm service from the workers/mgr -- they make their place one you want to return to.
