The Newcastle School

Cannot even begin to say how wonderful our Newcastle experience has been. The teachers are friendly and loving, the management is involved and helpful, the curriculum is age appropriate and fun. They were also extremely helpful and accommodating to our three year old son who has type 1 diabetes. We look forward to having him there another year and enrolling our daughter when she gets old enough.

Both of my children attended Newcastle and both of them loved it! They have a nice balance of play and age appropriate learning not to mention an amazing playground. The teachers and staff have all been very kind and loving towards my kids. We love Newcastle!

Amazing! We have had three of our children attend the Newcastle School, and have been constantly impressed with their enthusiasm for what they do. The school is amazingly organized, has excellent communication with parents...but the best part is their overall philosophy which fosters such a positive and creative environment in which all of our children have flourished. From the playground, to the song time, the diverse and engaging activities, and the art projects, our children have loved it all. We were particularly grateful for their partnership in dealing with our son's extensive food allergies. As parents, we never had to worry about his situation because of their attention to detail and awareness of him. They worked hard to include him in every food experience, and it meant the world to us. Personally, Kathleen has gone the extra mile for our family. On multiple occasions, we have taken up her time to discuss parenting strategies and individual concerns with our children. She is a pro, really, at using the common-sense, positive strategies from the Love and Logic Parenting system. We have even called her when our children no longer attended the school, and she was amazingly welcoming and helpful. She sincerely cares about each child's progress, recognizing what they, at their age, are emotionally, academically, and physically able to do. She extends that sincere concern into each family that attends Newcastle School, wanting to help us enjoy the experience of parenting. I can't say enough about the experience we have had attending the Newcastle School. It has made a huge difference to our family.

Newcastle School is amazing! The teachers are great. Everyone is so nice and loving to the kids. The school itself is the cutest little place, and every time I drop my daughter off there I just feel good and know she's in good hands. They have a very efficient drop off and pick up system. They do the cutest crafts everyday with the kids. They learn and play. I feel like they have a great balance. We had Miss Juliette and I can't say enough good things about her. Our experience has been great, and I'll be sending all my kids there!

Love, love, love Newcastle Preschool! I have nothing but praise for this wonderful preschool in Draper, Utah. I sent my two oldest children between 2009-2012. They each attended the 3/4-year-old class their first year, and the 4/5-year-old class their second year. The drop-off and pick-up system is well organized! You don't ever have to leave your car, which is wonderful when you have a baby that needs to remain in the vehicle. The playground is amazing--fun under a canopy of trees! The teachers are organized, professional, respectful, and kind. The curriculum is well thought out and creative. My children especially loved the focus on music, art, and play during each class! My husband and I appreciated the music programs multiple times a year at the Draper Theater, where we could see our children perform on stage. My children thrived at Newcastle! They were always excited to go to school, and anxious to show me what was in their bag when they returned home. You will not be sorry if you choose Newcastle Preschool! It is worth every penny and then some!
