Black Brook Cove Campground

Quiet, secluded spot with clean sites and great lake access for kayaking. Small general store with the basics. Bathrooms were clean. Women's showers have no water pressure at all. Men's are fine.

Horrible, disgusting, and retched. This “campground” was the worst camping experience of my life. The grounds were full of trash and junk. The campsites were not private and crowded. There was no room for a tent, and the ground was full of rocks. Unwelcoming and depressing. Terribly overpriced for what it was. Do not recommend.

Have spent a week at their off the grid East Shore sites every summer for many years and it's the best mental, physical and spiritual recharge that a person could ever ask for. I can't imagine a year without it. No cell, no electricity, no running water. Just the lake, loons, and quiet. Amazing.

Love this place Jeff and Janet are very nice people. I had a flat tire on my Subaru from picking up a snowmobile Spike on the dirt road to the remote sites,and Jeff fixed it for me! We are lucky to have a house on a lake in Maine, but we still go to Black Brook a couple times a year. It recharges your soul.
