Sammy's Deluxe offers original mouthwatering locally sourced food both standards like amzyburger or the truly inventive, Haddock MatzoBall Soup or giganitc hens and chicken mushrooms sauced in Succotash --- and on and on into the delightfully artistic mind of Sammy

My husband and I went to Sammy’s for our anniversary. We are new to town and it was recommended to us by a food connoisseur from Portland. The food and service were both sublime. Our server helped me make selections that were amazing. I’m grateful to have such beautiful food so accessible. Thank you chef Sammy!

Wow! So so delicious! The owners are amazing, so sweet and kind. The food deserves nothing less than a 5/5 and whoever says the portions are small must be high as a kite. My Sammy's meal left me equal parts satisfied, happy, and full! Can't wait to eat more Deluxe in the future.

If you are crabby and don’t like high quality ingredients, expertly prepared by a thoughtful and creative chef, and offered in a unique setting by real live human beings, stay away, This is not for you.nnAll kidding aside, we drive up from Portland area for a meal at Sammy’s Deluxe every so often. It’s a destination restaurant for us that never disappoints. The people are always friendly and the food and drinks are outstanding. Humble but charming atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The food is delicious. It’s masterfully executed with subtle and often surprising balances of flavor, texture, and temp. It conveys a respect for ingredients, a deep connection to place and season, and absofreakinlutely zero regard for the dominant trends that have been suffocating the originality out of the restaurant scene for the last decade. Sammy’s Deluxe makes you realize what’s missing at so many of today’s most hyped restaurants: authentic hospitality, a sense of humor, and the defiance of trends to offer food and service that is at once inventive, surprising, and truly comforting.
