Plain clothes self-taught unemployed ski police on trails monitoring you. Lock your car doors. If you are not from Maine you are not wanted!!!!
Great trails and great people. Enjoy the outdoors at a social distance.
Absolutely beautiful, although not the best hike during mud season. We took Geneva Loop and maybe it wasn't a good idea to hike the snowshoe/cross country trails but we didn't know any better. Ground was collapsing underneath each step, we didn't know what was safe to walk on. Rocks sinking 6 inches into the ground, it was quite the adventure that's for sure! Proceed with caution hikers!
Although, not very challenging, they are the most pristinely groomed trails I've ever seen!
