My husband and I went on a 30 minute tour around Rangeley, Maine. Our pilot was Adam! I must say he was very kind and the hospitality was spot on. Adam was very intelligent, gave us information as to where we were each destination throughout our flight. He even had mentioned safety tips and some information about the seaplane itself. My husband was over the moon and had a blast! It brought him back to his childhood memories taking a similar ride in a seaplane.nnAs someone like myself who has never been on a plane I must say this was an amazing experience I’ve ever encountered. Especially to happen during our honeymoon!nnThis is a huge must do! 100 stars for Adam! We can’t thank you enough.
We took a flight two years ago, and hope to do so again soon. Fun and Friendly. A great experience my family still talks about. --- And Kieth was even kind enough to help my son with a school project about the life of a pilot that he did later that year. Thank you!
My wife & I wanted to surprise my parents with a unique experience for their 40th anniversary and the experience was simply amazing. My parents were a bit skeptical at first (both in their late 60s and never flown in a single-prop aircraft before) but the pilot Immediately recognized this and before we even got on board, spent some time just talking to them about his experience, the flight plan and just answering any questions they had, and they had a lot.nnThe combination of the pilot’s good natured attitude, professionalism and absolute commitment to safety had both my parents giddy with excitement to get going (literally giddy!).nnThroughout the flight he had complete control over the aircraft and controls, and would talk us through what he doing and the maneuvers he was about to perform (slight turns, throttling the engine down, etc... that sort of thing) which led to an even more relaxing and joyful flight. And oh my, The VIEWS!!!!. He even flew us over our cabin on Mooslookleguntic to see our place from from the air!nnAll in all, it was an AMAZING experience and my parents had a blast; planning to make it a yearly anniversary tradition moving forward. Any hesitation about pulling the trigger on this experience, wont last 5 minutes in the presence of this experienced, professional and overall great-guy pilot.
Plane seats 4 guests. Recently overhauled and looks new. Lots of avionics and maps. Cool half hour ride to look for moose and check out the scenery. Easy take off and landing on the water right in the center of town.
PLEASE READ!nnI was in the same situation as Deborah Rand- I won a flight at a charity event (which Keith is so gracious to offer in the first place) and I had lost my voucher. Assuming it wouldn't be a big deal, I gave him a call and was offered the same response- he cannot honor a deal without a voucher number because it was given as a donation and records not kept of the voucher owner. As unfortunate as it was, I completely understood. Sadly, people like Deborah feel entitled to a trip from a business owner paying on his own dime in the first place.nnWhen we were packing up our house to move about 6 months later, I found the voucher and Keith honored his word that I could still use it if found. It was an amazing flight and meal with a tour guide that knew the area like the back of his hand! I have since booked another flight with Acadian Seaplanes for my parents' anniversary. 10/10 recommend!
