Brunswick wouldn’t be the same without this bridge. Hope it doesn’t get replaced by a boring concrete bridge like many others
Gorgeous trestle bridge that carries Brunswick–Topsham automobile traffic over the Androscoggin via Rte. 201. The iron is starting to rust, but the bridge retains its beauty. Views of the Androscoggin River Reservoir and the hydroelectric dam can’t be beat. Just remember—no fishing allowed “above the bridge.”
Beautiful truss bridge in a picturesque location between two historic downtowns.
