Washington Irving Elementary School

I love the school I went there when I was a kid and my son goes there now and he loves it there and they have a good pantry to help out with food and friendly people

I love this school because my teacher is there from 2013 from school 83 and that's miss maddox

I am not happy with the fact that the first semester of next year, the kids will have to be bussed to the opposite side of town for classes. From what I understand, that area is less safe than where the school is now. With the poor reputation of bus drivers throughout the country, I am not happy about my grandchild attending a different school so far from home. I think this needs to be thought out more carefully. I am sure there are other options. Renovation of the building should be done in a way so as not to place the children in danger and so as not to inconvenience those parents who take their children to school, go to their places of employment, and pick them up after school. If there is an emergency, some parents in this area do not have a means of transporation to pick up their children. This situation needs to be revisited.
