Hands down, the best vegetarian tacos I've ever had (and I've had a lot). I got the eggplant tacos and Mexican street corn. Everything was delicious and the staff seemed very friendly. I just wish I lived closer so I could go more often.
The idea is pretty neat, however all the food I received was basically ice cold. Cold tacos and a lukewarm soup. Fairly off putting. Not fresh at all.
My boyfriend and I love all different kinds of food. Our favorites are Mexican and Asian, mostly Japanese or Korean. We decided to try it as the name sounded interesting and the menu had very delicious options.nAfter placing our order, I sat down and my boyfriend stood there waiting for our order.nnI was looking at the people making out food because they were taking their time (which would have been fine if the food was good), and to my surprise I found the cashier pulling down his mask to have a drink and then wiping his mouth off without using any kind of hand sanitizer or washing his hands. This was so disgusting to me, but I was hungry so I decided not to focus on that and focus on the food instead.nnThe food was the worst part. My boyfriend is a pescatarian and ordered the tilapia taco and the tofu taco. I ordered the tongue taco, the soup and street corn. They were all put so close together that the tongue was all over my boyfriend’s tofu taco. The tofu was inedible, the tilapia was so tough it almost tasted like jerky. My soup was cold, but I didn’t even bother asking them to rehear it because the cashier did not seem friendly and the food was so bad we just wanted to leave.
The guy running the register was so rude, loud and inappropriate. We asked him about validating our ticket and he quipped “that’s not my responsibility” doesn’t seem to be the appropriate response for a new concept food hall. Won’t last long with the hot temper and bad attitude.
Visited 2/20/21nnTacos is everyone’s favorite but when you have rude staff (cashier pictured) then the taste is ruined.nnWe walk up to order and ask a question about something mentioned on the menu. Not knowing what it was, the man responds “i don’t understand you question. It’s not a meal it’s an ingredient”nnHow rude, they have a jar on the counter which reads “even the titanic tipped”, this is so insensitive to those who perished on the titanic. To joke about it is awful.nnWe ordered the Queso and chips. The queso is super spicy... so spicy we didn’t eat it.nnThis place also doesn’t accept Apple Pay.nnWe wouldn’t visit this place again ever and you shouldn’t either.
