We got a fair quote to remove wallpaper and paint a 10 x 12 bedroom with closet, and a ceiling in family room. Good job was done on the paper removal by 2 employees, but for I was disappointed when I found spilled rubbery pink material on my bedroom carpet and underside of my box spring. The carpet was going to be replaced, so I didn't get too worked up about it, but the bed and frame had stains that I peeled off, luckily. Paint was on the closet door frame, which tape could have protected. The ceiling in the family room painting was fine, but we had surround speakers mounted on the walls, and found one broken off the mount, and lying on the desk. We understand accidents happen, but we should have been told. We had this done last July, but I have just finished taking the paint off the trim, and decided I should leave a review for at least improving service. I've done the painting in the last 20 yrs in my home, and much more careful, and I'm not the professional. I also told Vicky I wanted a shade I chose from Sherwin William's, since I always use their paint. She had it mixed through Home Depot. I wasn't aware until they were done and saw the paint cans.
My girlfriend was moving from Houston to Barrington, IL for a job transfer. As these things very often go, things were happening in a hurry. Because of the distance involved, I was asked to meet with her realtor to help find her a home in the Barrington area. I was able to find my friend a wonderful home with a not so wonderful paint scheme. Knowing Vicky, I knew she was the right and trusted person to paint her home before her arrival. I picked out the color scheme and she and an employee were there for about a week painting the entire interior of the home so that it would be ready for my friends arrival. I was there to help her move in and what an awesome job Painting 4 U had done. I wouldn't recommend anyone else when it comes to painting. Vicky is patient, trustworthy and truly loves what she does. Thank you and well done!!
