This place has been around for over 30 years. The meat always has a peculiar smell even frozen meat. Sometimes you can taste it! When they are stocked you might get lucky and get fresh meat Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I brought smoked meat for my greens and I cooked them overnight. I just tried them and they would've been delicious if the smoked meat didn't have that taste to it! Thank God I still time to fix my Easter greens. So much for supporting local businesses ud83dude44

Food is ALWAYS fresh and reasonably priced, I usually get more than my money's worth here
This store has been around since I can remember when I was in grade school at Michelle Clark or at least there former franchise when it was located on Chicago Avenue and in Bellwood. But, I love the fact that they keep some of their fruit wrapped around nicely instead of Jewels and Walmart, where everyone can touch the products. But, it has been around for at least probably more than 30-40 years. Within the community!!!
