The only reason for one blank star is the store's checkout. Their lack of check out clerk's creates needless waiting times. The self checkout is often slow, in part, because of the staff lacks.nHowever, it would be FIVE STARSnOtherwise. Prices tend to be the best in town. Their variety is excellent and often unique. Staff are helpful.nSo, go to Meijers and have a great variety to choose from. I recommend it highly.

Meijer has been in Springfield for a very long time and to be honest I didn't like it when it first opened up. That being said, everything I once did not like about it has been removed, changed, restocked since last I was there and now it is by far one of my favorite stores in Springfield. Produce is really expansive and very well taken care of. The prices seem very fair and at times I have found exceptional buys on specials in meats and other perishables.nnThe store is well lite and easy to get around. Carts are plentyful and the selection is very good. My new go to store that has been here a while. Some people reading this may not have been there in a while, I suggest you give it a second look.

Every now and then, they will have great deals on candy bars (buy 5/get 5). This is usually what brings me in.nnOnly had one problem and that was bugs in a package of mushrooms I had bought a while back.nnOther than the extra unwanted protein, I find this place a good place to shop.nnExcept for milk. Milk is a little high here.

Always pleasantly surprised shopping here. Cashiers and customer service are always helpful and polite. I recommend it.

Always have good deals and sale on. Meat is always of good quilty. Very Good Selection of works foods also.
