The food usually takes a w h I l e, and the customer service is a 50/50 show. but overall, it's not bad- especially in a pinch or if you're a college student.
I just went thru the DT. I ordered something I hadn’t ordered before, a deluxe quarter pounder with cheese. I open the box and it’s a pile of ketchup and Mayo. There is nothing deluxe about this sandwich. The meat is old, no tomatoes, they used shredded lettuce instead of leaf lettuce. When I called, I asked what was supposed to be on the sandwich, the gentleman on the phone told me what was supposed to be on it in a very hurried tone and I could not understand him. Thinking maybe I misunderstood what actually comes on the sandwich. He repeated, hurried again. Then I told him I came thru the drive thru and this is what was wrong with the sandwich. He then said, Well I’m the GM and all you had to do was say your sandwich was messed up. You didn’t need to explain it. Just come back thru and get your new sandwich.” Like... what?? The only good thing I can say about this visit were that the fries were hot. That’s why it got 2 stars.
Somedays the food is AMAZING. Other days French fries are old or cold....so I give it a 3 star to be fair about it.
Fast moving lines almost anytime day or night. Manager Matt is a delightful. Perhaps it's due to having to correct so many issues as most times my order is incorrect.
DuQuoin IL McDonald's drive thru employees were very polite and caring. They were very welcoming!!
