Islamic Center of Siouxland

Beautiful mosque in South Sioux City. I regularly visit it on Fridays. Jumuah khutbah starts around 12:30 pm, prayer follows.

Islamic Center of Siouxland is the largest building combining a mosque on the upper floor and a community cultural center in the basement in the Northeastern Nebraska, South Dakota and Northwestern Iowa. More than 200 persons can pray at one time during Friday's congregational prayers. All 5 daily prayers are performed in addition to Friday congregational prayer every week. A weekend school in the basement educates our children in reading Quraan and Islamic faith. The Center is full of activity during the month of Ramadaan. Daily Taraweeh prayers are offered and Iftaar dinners are organized on weekends during the fasting month of Ramadaan. The Center has separate washing rooms for men and women for wadhu. Friday sermons are delivered in both Arabic and English. The Center has parking space for nearly 150 cars.
