By far one of the worst business transactions I have ever dealt with in Sioux City. I brought my car in that had a no start condition. It was over 2 months before I got it back and all he did was rig up my fuel pump to key on. It seemed like nothing was done, really. When I went to go pick up the car the bill was $180. I argued that all the time he had my car I was without and that his tech only installed a rigged switch. I had to provide all the parts for his tech to diagnose. He said $100 and he never wanted to see my (Insert profanity) nightmare again.nThis business lacks professionalism, effectiveness, and skill. I would definitely not reccomend for repairs as it seems the skill needed for an electrical shop to thrive is not found here.
Seemed reasonable, He tried to fix my problem and he was only able to semi fix the problem. He recommended I go to the dealer.nThe car is back to giving me the same problems.
ReviewnnAutomotive Electricn515 Chambers St, Sioux City, IA 51101nnI recently bought a Turbo kit for my 2013 Subaru BRZ but needed to install the new radiator first. This high performance radiator with slim fan cost me $1,400 and I would have done this myself but I dont know wiring. I decided to take it to Automotive Electric based on a recommendation from a previous mechanic (biggest mistake, should have checked reviews first). When dropping the car off I explained the guy (The owner), what exactly needed to be done and even provided him with an instructions manual as well. The guy was extremely rude and very unhelpful. He brushed me off saying he can take care of it. Due to a busy work schedule, I couldn’t pick up my car, but my parents ended up doing so. When they first called me to pick up the car, I asked if there was any issues and if they followed the instructions step by step. Again the owner was rude and they said yes they did. After work I went home to check on the car, I noticed they did not follow the instructions and decided to keep parts of the kit worth more than $100. They kept the 2 SPAL 30 AMP relays. They also did not return my stock radiator and fans. When I called to complain, they gave me the sorry excuse that they did not install it because “the stock wiring was sufficient and all the extra wiring will make the car look Shitty” in his words exactly. I told him I do not care, I spent $1400 on the radiator kit and I wanted everything to be installed the way it was supposed to be, I even provided you with an instructions manual. After that, I called the manufacturer and explained the situation. They told me those parts defiantly needed to be installed otherwise I would burn up the fuses and would cause damage to the vehicle. The following morning I drove my car back to his shop. Along the way the car just complete shut off, which could have caused me to get into an accident. Note that my car has NEVER had any issues before this guy worked on it. The car is still fairly new have less than 45K miles on it. This is just one of the few issues I noticed. I tried explaining that to the owner and again was rude and made the remark like I didn’t know how to drive the car. Again, I told him to follow the instructions that was provided and asking if I would be charged again ( $418) since he didn’t do the complete job yesterday. He laughed and said “we will do whatever you say, I mean we do work for free” in a snarky tone. When picking up my car again, I looked over the car and asked for all my stuff back. In my opinion, these people are lazy and stealing my stuff. Not only that I feel like they do not know what they are doing. I will now have to take my car to a different shop to be looked over and see if any other issues occurs.

This is the best auto electric I have found! Honest and good at what they do. They put all their effort into the vehicles.
