This park was stunning! The views of the water are great, and you can actually go swimming in the lake. There are tons of benches and picnic tables, as well as two pavilions that can be reserved for parties and gatherings, and two playgrounds.nnFor being a park, the bathrooms were very clean and nice and air conditioned, which is a necessity during the hot humid summers in Alabama!nnThe only reason I won’t give this park five stars is because it is not the most dog friendly park. We had three dogs, and there was nowhere safe to let them run and play. We ended up walking down the road from parking lot to the next to let them stretch their legs before getting back in the car for four more hours.
