I spotted this restaurant heading home from vacation; and man was it worth it. Upon entering we received a warm welcome. They definitely make you feel right at home here. I ordered the ribs, mac and cheese, dressing with gravy, roll, and bread pudding. The food was every bit of amazing! I have since told anyone who will listen about this spot. Can't wait to go back!!

Came down from Atlanta to play golf. After playing golf l. We stop by Thelma's Kitchen for lunch. Let me tell you as soon as you walk in. The greeting was great. They cater to you from the beginning to the end. The waitress and staff made you feel right at home. Then the food knock it out the park!!! It was hot, well season and just plain delicious. Everything was terrific. I wish that they could have a Thelma's Kitchen in Atlanta. I now have a place to eat at when I come down to play golf. It's my new place to eat. GREAT JOB ALL AROUND THELMA'S KITCHEN!!!

Thelma's Kitchen is a cafeteria style restaurant, where you go through the line and the server fills your plate. Today's offerings on the food bar was fried chicken, fried pork chops, rib tips, fish and neck bones. Sides included mashed potatoes with gravy, mac & cheese, dressing, cooked cabbage, mixed veggies & black eye peas. You also get a dinner roll or cornbread muffin. The lunch special is choice of meat (or mix & match 2 meats), 2 sides & drink for around $11. Side salad & dessert available for extra charge. I had the rib tips & fish, cabbage, mac & cheese with cornbread muffin. I also got a side salad, but took it home because I was full along with some of my rib tips. You get a lot of food for a reasonable price. And this is really good southern style cooking. The staff is friendly & attentive with checking in to see if we needed refills & asking if we needed anything. I could tell they were going out of their way to make sure tables were clean and physically distanced & they wore masks, following covid guidelines to keep customers and themselves safe. I will eat here again, for sure.

Outstanding food, friendly service and our server Crystal best we ever seen or had. Friendly atmosphere and they bent over backwards to accommodate you. Ribs melt in your mouth and other foods outstanding as well. Highly recommend Thelma's to anyone looking for home style type meal. A true 5 star experience for this Pittsburgh family there for family visit. Visit Thelma's and try for yourself. You won't walk away hungry or disappointed.

Really enjoyed buffet. Everything prepared well with exception of ribs being too tough, dry and chewey. Catfish was as good as any have had anywhere. Cornbread was even good and that's a major accomplishment. Cakes looked good, but no room. Thanks for a good meal. Service great.
