Awesome place; relaxing, fairly quiet, very spacious rooms, wonderful atmosphere. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is because the shower water would not get or stay hot but had fluctuation issues. But we definately will be coming back.

Joe Wheeler is our go to place. We love to come spend the night at the lodge. It is so calm and beautiful!! You always see an abundance of wild life!! Each room is on the lake. We also love the restaurant. It has seasonal operating days. We ALWAYS have a great meal. Wonderful sandwiches, seafood and chicken tenders and great service!!!

Beautiful park! Great resources for children including a Growing Up Wild program and Forest School by Ms. Blaire, who is great with the kids! My children love the park! Lots of whitetail deer to see just driving through as well!
