I had never recieved my approval for my pregnancy medicaid through the mail. I was told I could come down and use my photo ID and get a copy of my Medicaid paperwork so i could go to the doctor. I am 13 weeks pregnant and it's been a real rodeo to say the least with these folks. I hate dealing with Lauderdale County Health Department, that's why I make a 40 minute drive to Cobert County.nI walk in and the front desk clerk, older lady, BAD ATTITUDE . Sends me around the corner with zero direction . So I have to ask another lady how to go about getting this printed off piece of paper with a number on it. ( VERY SIMPLE TASK )nShe also acts as if I am a problem . And says you have to sign their clipboards and then knock on the door.nAfter further investigation I notice the medicaid folks aren't even in their office . Nor is there any clipboard to sign .nSO HOW HARD IS IT, to say ma'am they are on lunch right now come back after 11 ?nn**So note it is 10:38 a.m. right now, and I decided to come wait in my car until 11 and write you the review you definitely deserve.nnThis Health Department is rated 2 stars for a reason !!nThought I would give my 2 cents as well !!

Absolutely horrible. I called to make an appointment and when I asked when the next opening was, the lady said “ok” and hung up. Worthless, careless workers.
