Great meal Great service with a wonderful down home smile it made us feel like family. Very clean restaurant along with the restrooms.When we are heading south again I will definitely find a detour to stop for a meal again. Thank You for the wonderful meal and hospitality.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Gumbo was on point, a must have. Steaks were cooked well and tasty, but very thin for the price. Apps and sides were good. Go for the Cajun recipes for sure.
The Buckboard restaurant made us feel sick. We first entered to notice a crowded restaurant where there was indoor band and nobody wearing masks, not even any of the food servers. The appetizer was good but our steaks were not. The waitress did not allow returns of food that did not meet expectations and rather than risk paying for another disappointment we decided on eating a desert for dinner and feeding our fillet mignons to our dogs. We felt very queasy after our first and last visit here. I am sure some people love it as it was crowded but we just can’t figure out why?
