Wells Fargo Bank

I have been banking at Wells Fargo, Opp location as my main branch since 1997. I have conducted numerous types of business with them but as soon as I can get my personal business transitioned to another bank, I will do so.nn“Back in the day” hometown banking was a plus. No longer does Wells Fargo, Opp location operate or treat their customers in that way. I know because I was done unfairly just yesterday. Wells Fargo, Opp, took the “hometown” out of banking.nnPrior to this particular incident yesterday I had been noticing that the manager or she may have a different title literally “lurks” behind her tellers to the point it is uncomfortable and she makes you feel like there is zero privacy. In my opinion, being nosey or wanting to “keep her thumbs on them.”nnThe “lurking, nosey” manager became the I don’t owe you anything, I don’t know you, and I am not willing to help you manager therefore I’ve stated my peace, with intentions of being tactful and professional, but truthful, and I will no longer be conducting business with them after 22 long years.nn⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0fI would like to add to my overall experience⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0fnnThe very next day I drove approximately 15 miles to the nearest Wells Fargo, Andalusia, Alabama, location. I was greeted by friendly staff that was happy to assist me. I asked the bank teller the EXACT same questions after explaining my need, and, without hesitation, she gladly assisted me and took care of it. No questions, no “lurking” manager, just service with a smile ud83dude01nnOverall I’m disappointed in the service I received at my hometown location but pleased that a Wells Fargo was able to meet my needs.
