Great observation area. Muddy path but not overly up/down hill. So with the right shoes most people can complete this walk. Park near the google marker for the trail head. There’s spots for like 5 cars easily, but it gets crowded.nnSnow and mud are your biggest issues here. Otherwise it’s a nice walk through the woods on a trail ending in a observation deck where you can wander around all over the rocks.nnLittle kids(toddlers) might have difficulty. But older kids would do fine.

Absolutely worthy to visit! No matter you just simply enjoy the views or you want to shot some spectacular photos Lindy Point Observation Deck is one of the best choices. I also happened to capture a sunset wedding there. It was gorgeous!

Such a stunning view of the beautiful West Virginia scenery. I missed the peak time for the leaves changing, but the duller tones still blew me away.nThe hike is over flat ground, but closed toed shoes are highly recommended (some rocks and lots of tree roots). It would be muddy, but I was there during a dry period.nDo not visit Blackwater Falls without stopping here.

Amazing view, super easy trail, 0.8 miles in and out. Parking area is small though.

What a view! Ancient mountains ground down by glacier's. Rolling hills and if you're into Geology, you gonna love this place. Lots of shale. I looked for fossils and found little ones right away. If you find the right spot, you gonna hit the motherboard here. Beautiful, gorgeous, awe inspiring. Gives you that perspective you don't see much in life. Scale I'm terms of size, age, and the earth itself.
