Stopped by on the way through Dumas this past weekend. It was late when pulled into Dickeys. They only had one Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage much to my wife's dismay, but it is understandable that a small town restaurant doesn't cook up a bunch of extras. We had pulled pork, two different sausages, mac and cheese, BBQ beans, and slaw.... everything was delicious, service was great. This will be a stop every time we are passing through. Thank you for everything...see you again soon. They even offered to let us park camper in the parking lot to rest overnight.
They only had one baked potato, we wanted 3, it was cold and the brisket chili had no meat, not one crumb of brisket. The staff was not overwhelmingly nice. It appeared that I interrupted their activities of the day. I was the only person in the store hhhmm... the brisket sandwich bun was flat as a pancake! I did let them know we were traveling from Texas to Colorado Springs, CO and that we have a few Dickies out in Colorado. It didn't phase them.
We were VERY pleased with this location. The food was delicious, the people very courteous, and the facility very clean. Our restaurant back home is horrible, so we were very pleasantly surprised! Keep up the good work!!!
Not much choice, food was cold and expensive and over cooked. Would not recommend.
The service is always impeccable and the food is awesome.
