The Home Depot always goes above and beyond to ensure the customer leaves happy. There are some situations however that are out of the control of anyone at the store and when those situations arise the management team does whatever they can to try to make them right. My salesperson was knowledgeable and the install went as planned. I had some product come in damaged but order was expedited and didn't cause a delay. Great experience!

Used Home Depot to install carpeting and it was a terrible experience. They did a awful job when they installed and when you try to call and have it fixed they send you to multiple people who do not seem to communicate with each other. Never the less after several weeks and three more installers coming to the house which included multiple days of missed time from work I still decided to use them to install my kitchen. Mistake that was my fault for not learning the first time. They delivered the cabinets and one was missing. Trying to get it figured out and have them get the cabinet to you in a decent time frame is impossible. Do not use Home Depot installation services, you will regret it. We are still waiting for our last cabinet which is a base cabinet so you cannot install the counter tops or flooring because still waiting for the last cabinet. You call Home Depot and if you can get anyone to answer they phone they tell you things that are not true. I tried to call so many times I ended up just driving up there to find out what they told me on the phone previously was incorrect. I have had to take off work a total of 9 days so far and still do not have the last cabinet installed or counter tops.

This post involves the special order option of Home DepotnMay 14th a door was ordered and paid fornExpected 2week ship timenCalled may 31st told arrival date of June 1stnScheduled contractor for June 5thnWent to pick up door on June 5thnThe door was never receivednCustomer service calls the Stevens door company and is told they have a 21 day lead time and door is not readynThe consumer is out money for scheduling contractor because no product a fee is incurrednJune 7th consumer calls Stevens door companynThey are informed of the followingnOrder submitted may 16thn2 days after may 14th order datenAnd door will not be shipped until the week of June 12thnIn the meantime consumer cannot schedule a contractor and you ask yourself if this is a ploy by homedepot since their install services were not used to install door. This is a large organization and I cannot believe that the contract with the door maker is not written within the spirit to help the consumer. Speaking with management does not resolve the problem because consumer still leaves without product only that they forward issue to regional and corporate management. The responsibilities of informing the consumer of issues which arise with orders what ever they are relies on the depot .if the product you are wanting is behind schedule because of material shortages then you should be told. Deal with the realities and inform your consumer it is better to Wait due to shortages of materials which conveys that an American company is striving to keep up with demandnRene munoz
