I am posting this to warn people in our San Antonio area about a dishonest business. The name of the business is called Dan Paints LLC,, owned by Dam Wilkes of Live Oak Tx.. He operates in this area, and preys on the elderly. My dad is 76 years old, and called him to some work on his patio cover. Mr WIlkes went to see the job, and told my dad that he would need $250.00 to do the job. He stated that he would go get the materials right away and do the job. My Dad wrote him a check for $250, and Mr. Wilkes cashed it that day. That was July 11, 2014. My dad called him to come by and do the job. He said he would go do it, but never showed. He then quit picking up the phone and did not return calls from my dad. I also called him and he said he would be by to do the job but never came. It is a shame that dishonest people like this prey on, and steal from the elderly. DO NOT do business with this man because he is a crook...
