I’m going to try and keep this brief, but getting my taxes done here was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had . Long story short, someone wasn’t doing their job and didn’t verify with the IRS that my taxes were completed. When I noticed that I did not have an update available on the IRS website, I decided to call to Jackson Hewitt to see what was going on. I was told by an employee that ‘someone’ didn’t do their job and these things are supposed to be quality checked every 24 hours. It had been at least ten days unchecked if I recall correctly (it’s been a few months since this event transpired)nnTHAT ALONE is not what I’m upset about. Accidents happen. It’s when I spoke to the manager of this location that I began to get extremely disgruntled. When I explained the situation, the manager proceeded to speak to me in an extremely condescending manner. He even went as far as to belittle my knowledge of the subject at hand. When he did his investigation and realized everything I said was correct, I did not receive a heartfelt apology for the confusion (or for not getting my refund even remotely in time due to someone’s negligence) but I got offered an insulting 25 dollar credit to my account.nnDon’t go here. No one deserves that level of disrespect. It’s been months and my blood still boils when I think about this.
