My family and I went kayaking on the Buffalo with Bones and it was a great experience! They were super friendly and the process was easy and fast. We did the 5 mile run and it is very enjoyable and relaxing. There were quite a few places to stop and enjoy snacks that we had brought along. The river was a little high when we went with several obstacles to avoid and some swift currents to navigate , but even this first time kayaker had no issues. We passed only one other group on our way down the river but other than that, we had the river to ourselves. Could not have been a better experience. I highly recommend.

Had a great time kayaking with Bone’s this past weekend. Everything was so organized from the online reservation to the check in process. They are taking extra precautions during the pandemic and making everyone wear a mask on the van ride to the drop in location which was greatly appreciated. The owners were really nice and welcoming and overall made the experience even better. I highly recommend them!

The crew at Bones are ALWAYS helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I do prefer the 5 mile trip to the 10 mile for the sole reason of places to stop. The first couple miles of the 10 mile trip doesn't have many pull over spots to make the trip last the whole day. We enjoyed the 5 mile a bit more. We like to stop and hang out and have drinks and swim. I'm happy to recommend Bones for your canoeing/kayaking trips!

Best experience! Checking in was quick and easy, we were on the water quickly and they were there to pick us up right when we finished. Overall, one of the best experiences with a canoe/kayak rental company! We will definitely be back soon! Great river to bring kids to and the camp grounds looked clean and were close to the river for a breeze. Next time we will be camping, too!

Bone's was a great outfit to work with. They were very helpful getting in touch with us the day of our float to ensure we felt good about our arrangements (10 mile float in aluminum canoes when it might be storming). We even were running a little late and they were still able to accommodate us. The entire staff was friendly and the equipment was in great shape. Would canoe with them again!
