This is a beautiful area to hike to and from with a slight climb up ridge returning to Collins Gulf main trail.nI will throw this cautionary statement in for those who maybe sight impaired, knee, hip or balance issues this may not be a hike for you.nAs you descend ridge trail becomes very rocky with many roots with uneven footing most of the walk.nOnce in the Falls area its a wonderful bluff with lush Mountain plants and beautiful rock formations. A great place to stop contemplate life and enjoy the cool air provided. As you know the Falls size depends on rain fall recently, it was minimal day I visited but the beauty of this area makes this a worthy place to visit. Also there is a nice paved parking area with map of Collins Gulf area before departing parking area, trail is marked well both ways.nSo if Falls hiking is your thing add this 1 to your list I'm sure you'll enjoy.

When visiting when the water flowmis low, it's not so exciting. The walk in might be better

Beautiful waterfall. It's a nice easy hike to get to it. Keep your eye out for snakes. We almost stepped on a rattlesnake just before getting to the falls. He was sitting in a sunny spot. The water is super cold and refreshing.
