Dorman High School

I love everything about the school. The food and teachers are great... what I have an issue with are the crazy and inconsistent internet filters. sights that were fine for all these years are blocked, students and sometime even teachers have an issue accessing information. Its absurd...

i go to dorman its an ok school we could use better teachers and better classrooms and better lunches some time there food is not fully cooked

The fact i have to give dorman a one star rating is being way to generous. I’m currently a senior at Dorman high school coming from out of state my parents found the school and we’re very pleased with the with the initial introduction. Only to find out that in one of my classes the teacher is hardly present!!! Also when he does decide to teach the class he expects very little from the students and this goes for most teachers. The expectations at Dorman high school is little to none. Also if you try to get help from Dean Lancaster you will have better asking a friend. He gives you short answers that are most likely not helpful in any situation you may have. A pice if advice I’d like to share if you open enroll to Dorman you might want to rethink it not only will they not have your transcripts until the 3rd month of school and then expect you to fill out college applications. They hardly teach in the classes give little assistance when asked and will refer you to a fellow classmate and for advanced classes they’re not impressive at all. I’m not sure what Spartanburg highs like but you may want to consider going there instead of this awful school. Sure the sports team may be great and the building looks really nice on the outside and the inside you can tell they definitely put a lot of money towards the building and facilities. But when it comes to the teachers and the staff don’t expect the same quality. This may not be true for every teacher but from what I have experienced your better off somewhere else if you would like a real education.

This school is amazing, it focuses on many aspects of business. The only problem is the teachers, some of them are unfair to students and gossip about students. Other than that it's a great school.

A very nice school. I like the way they had everything set up for the CIPA Qualifier. I was in Powdersville Indoor Percussion, and I had a great time performing!
