It is a good attempt to squeeze in a dog park and a very un-park-like urban area. No grass here; it's all mulch. (That might actually work better than grass). In all fairness, I came right after it rained and it was a nasty drizzly day. I'm sure the entire grounds look much better in good weather. They do have a couple of apparatuses for the dogs to play on (like agility). I'll be back to give it another go.
I take my dog here often as it's a clean park with other enjoyable dogs. Seems to always be others here with their dogs so plenty of fun for your dogs. People tend to pick up after their dogs and those who don't someone who cares about the park will pick up after them (But please pick up after your dogs) lots of fun. Regulars are friendly and open to other dog parents so a great way to meet others and their friendly dogs.
If you have a small dog avoid this dog park. There is no separate area for big dogs versus little dogs. The area seemed well maintained and there were potty bags and stations. There was no running water the day we went so consider bringing some water for your dog. We did not go in but ended up walking the trail behind the park because I have a very small dog and all the dogs in the park were well over 50 pounds.
Decent park, cool obstacles to train you dog with. Biggest down side it's all one park, so big dogs and little dogs are all in the same area
Loved the dog park. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to follow the rules. Dogs had plenty of water and everyone kept an eye on their pets. We plan to make this a weekly visit as it was the first night in two years our little girl went to bed tired. Very clean and spacious. Your pet will love it!
