The pond is very pretty and serene by itself, but it's not visited very often and neglected because of that lack of visitors. There's a few reasons for that. The pond is flooded with bugs during the summertime so you need to wear lots of bugspray. Expect fallen trees to be on the paths and, if its rained recently, expect the paths on the pond side to be flooded and muddy. Fishing is probably the best thing to do here if you can survive the insects. It's best to go during the wintertime when there isn't insects.

Dont let the litter along the highway fook you. This place goes deep back and wraps around. The trails are sort of wild so make sure to where waterproof boots. But totally worth it. Fishing is good up by the highway. And a few spots back in. Really wish people would stoo littering the entrance. But very fun there. Ive met some cool people. Very good vlog spot.

Nice place but needs to maintained a bit better. There are quite a few trees laying across the trail. But I would go back again.

Fun hiking trails if you don't mind getting a bit creative finding your way. There are quite a few areas that are blocked by fallen trees or were just too wet to slosh through. Though, all in all it was a great place to just enjoy the wildlife and we spotted quite a few pitcher plants along the way! Gotta love those carnivorous plants!
