Like the eggs in a basket and the fried apples.
Ordered online catered to go at 10:50 pm to pick up at 11:30 am the next morning. Got there to pick up, they don’t have my name on the list of pick up orders. After a 45 minute wait, my food was ready at 12:15. What’s the point of ordering ahead if it’s going to be cooked once I get there? No refund offer or discount offer, just a “We’re sorry.” That’s twice it’s happened to me for this particular Cracker Barrel. Lesson learned.
The food was immaculate, very well prepared. I had the pot roast, and my husband and my in-laws really enjoyed outlet food. The waitress forgot about us several times. My in-laws had to ask her multiple times for different things, that I ended up having to go request from a different waitress. I'm giving it a 5 star, because everyone was happy with there meal at the end.
I’ve eaten here a few times. When I dined in the waitresses were friendly and accommodating. The food had a reheated taste to it. On the occasion that I called in my order, I waited 20 minutes before I arrived and still had to wait another 25 minutes. When I received my order my food was cold.
The grits were watered down. The gravy had no seasoning at all. Honestly tasted like grease / flour .biscuits were good and the apples never disappoint. Sausage had an odd color to it and tasted just awful. Our waitress was pleasant and its always fun to shop there; but I was super disappointed in the breakfast. It usually is spectacular.
