Great place to just come and relax. We live fairly close and have a Palmetto Passport. After a rough day at work, nothing beats sitting in the swing by the lake. They have boat rentals (kayak, canoe, rowboat, and SUP), and fishing piers. The trail along the lakefront is partially paved and has swings, picnic tables, benches, and posts to hang a hammock.nnWe've also been camping here on both campgrounds. The Office campground is 30 Amp, but has larger sites. The Lake campground has 50 Amp, but a lot of the sites don't accommodate larger campers. Be sure to confirm your site will fit your camper before reserving.nnEvery 3rd weekend they have a horse show, so you'll have to book a campsite father in advance for these weekends, but it is really fun watching the horses. Bring a chair and a golf cart if you have one.nnThe hiking trails here are also nice. They have trails that can accommodate younger children as well a seasoned veterans.nnI highly recommend this park.

Lots of trails to walk. Bridge is out to Whitestlne spring.

Very clean and quiet. Upper campground has fairly large level sites and the lower campground by the lake has smaller sites and I wasn't a big fan of it.nHas a nice dock to fish from and rental canoes and Jon boats.

Great park! My only wish is that the trails would be a little better marked. The US Army history of this park is fascinating, but I'd love to see some more of it there. I had to do a lot of research on my own to find the full military history of Croft. I'll certainly be back to hike more trails!

Excellent park with many options for activities and a very helpful staff. There was a horse competition with a talented group of young local horse ladies available to watch. Great mountain bike trails, hiking trails and beautiful waterways on site.
