Thank you Town of Lexington for Paw Park. Let me say something about these negative comments. It would take me an hour to address them but: First- the Kennel cough comment- documentation- it’s for the welfare of our pets. Second-you have to pay- yes, someone has to pay and it shouldn’t be all on the local taxpayers who don’t use it. It’s worth a few dollars to keep your dog safe and to be able to run loose and play with other dogs. Are there any other places fenced in that you can let your dog run free, inside a gate?

It's a clean open area that is very secure and protected. No entry permitted unless you're a member. All members pets are well taken care of and vaccinated. We have PawPawties, Howl-O-Ween Pawties, and Santa Paws where we dress up our pets for the holiday's!! There's not too many things for the dogs to do unless you or other members provide it. Our members provide pools, sprinklers, treats and toys..nnNo children under 12 yrs allowed for the protection of the children and the dogs. Sometimes younger children can over excite dogs and when you have so many dogs in one place it can incite a dog fight which is unpredictable and dangerous for children. Please adhere to the PawPark policy and rules. Thanks.

I take my dog here and she loves it. You pay $35/year for access and you get a key card. You have to provide up to date vaccination records for your dog and you will get email notifications when a vaccination needs to be updated. There are two separate fenced in play areas, one for small dogs and large dogs. They just added in covered seating with fans and lighting for owners which is very nice. You get to know the pets and their owners as a good group of people are regulars. I'm glad I have this option for my dog to get to socialize and play.

Great dog park! We took our 5 mo old puppy there today and she loved playing with the other dogs. She did so much running that our “high energy” girl was worn out for the rest of the day. Before receiving our membership there was an application to fill out, had to show proof of immunizations (to keep all dogs safe from illness) and pay the fee which was a bit more for us since we live outside the town limits of Lexington, but worth it. All the dogs were well mannered and have a great time running and playing with each other. There are nice sheds with seating to stay out of the hot sun and thunderstorms in the summer, dog pools for keeping cool, water and toys (balls, frisbees, etc) for the dogs, plastic bags and trash cans for cleaning up your dog’s poop. The park is clean and well kept. Each week the dog park is maintained by the the employees of the Town of Lexington. This dog park is a great way for socializing and exercising your pup.
