Ashby Jones and her team were extremely professional, responsive, and caring during my case. Anytime I called or emailed, I received answers right away. Mrs. Jones knew money would be an issue for my case. She helped me maximize her time and knowledge, and showed me how I could use her team to get the best bang for my buck, yet not break the bank. I ended up spending thousands less than my ex husband and received top quality service and representation. During the process, he attempted to publicly shame her on social media. Now everything is said and done, he recommends her, rather than the attorney he hired. Kinard & Jones, specifically Ashby Jones, will always be the first I call whenever there is a legal need. I was treated with such respect and kindness, and received the best service and representation.

NEED to come back down to earth. Just because you work in the legal field DOES NOT make you any better than anyone else.nnI have met snobby people and good people in the legal field.nn( I am in no way saying all of the staff is this way, but if the below reviews say anything, it's not the first time someone has experienced something like this at this place)nnI just want to remind you guys that how you treat others reflects on you, and your business.nnYou have a job where you can make good change in the world, but also be the change you wish to see. People in the legal field get flack for being stereotyped as snobby. I don't know what kind of thing happens when some of you guys get out of law school or work for an attorney, but I do truly hope that there's a person, a decent person, underneath that suit and tie or professional outfit.nnCome down to earth.

Words cannot express how satisfied I am with Ashby’s representation in my divorce. I’ve been a trial lawyer myself for over 20 years and Ashby’s performance in the courtroom was as good as any I have seen. We had a weeklong trial involving multiple expert witnesses as well as a novel issue of evidentiary law. Her preparation, presentation, and persuasion led to an outcome better than I had ever hoped possible. I always felt that she and her partners (Murry and Bob) were personally invested in my case and their staff members were always very responsive to me. My divorce was the toughest emotional time of my life and Ashby steered me through it. If want one of the absolute best trial attorneys in South Carolina to represent you in your divorce, hire Ashby.

Bob Jackman was my divorce attorney from this law firm. Bob seemed to be more eager to just settle, he never attempted to get husband financials to get an accurate account for child support, nor did he try to get my ex to refinance the vehicle that was in both of our names to his name only. His only response was banks aren't refinancing cars anymore? But I had to refinance my home to remove his name from the deed but the same can't be done for me to remove my name from a vehicle I don't drive. Now I have to deal with making missed payments for a vehicle I don't drive while caring for three kids. His truck payment is more than I get for support! How is that working for your client?! I can't speak to the other attorneys in this office but Bob Jackman isn't a good attorney if you're looking for someone to go hard for you, return your calls, be on your side and be confident in front of a judge he was more nervous than me in front of the judge. Don't waste your money or time with this attorney. You would be better going to legal aid for help at least you would've saved a few thousand dollars and counting. Wouldn't recommend him.

Your money is better spent at any other law firm, other than Kinard & Jones. The front desk and lawyers alike are the snobbiest group of unprofessionals in Columbia. They are very unresponsive, either glued to their phone screens inside or chain-smoking cigarettes outside; completely disinterested in helping anyone.
