This place is a lot cooler than you think. First off, it's huge. There are a ton of animals and the lodging is perfect. The food was great and they let you do your own thing the whole time you are there. I will definitely be back multiple times. Blas and Bill are great guides and Troy and his wife are very nice people.

Troy and his staff go out of their way to give you a high quality, successful and fun experience. Top notch in every way and his wife is a heck of a cook!!!
My 85 year old father and I totally enjoyed every minute of our visits with Troy and his family. They picked Dad up at the front door, and settled him into his ground blinds, so that the hunt was very easy for him. I walked and stalked with a guide, and if the hogs saw or smelled you, they were gone! They're not domesticated in any way! The stands are very well maintained, and if you don't take a hog, it's only because you didn't pull the trigger! I'm definitely returning to the Buck & Boar Lodge!
Awesome place. These guys know their animals. It makes the hunt so much more predictable and fun. Will be back for a ram and another hog hunt (plenty to go around).
