We are attempting to go to all SC State Parks this year and went to Paris Mountain for the first stamp in our book. We loved it here. Plenty of space to avoid others and keep the family safe yet in public during this pandemic. We’ve been here many times before, being that we live a few miles away, but we are excited to make this our first stop in our goal to be an SC State Park stop goal!
We were looking for something to do during this ridiculous pandemic. We (2 adults and 3 kids) decided to go for an easy hike around Lake placid on the lake placid trail. Park was very nice and the park center extremely helpful. They offer loaner fishing poles and tackle for kids to use while on the trail around the Lake. We will be back again.
Wonderful park for hiking. Wish that bathrooms were open earlier in March. I know the bathroom next to office is open.
We always love exploring Paris Mountain State Park! Hiking trails, camping, and the beach to play at provides an entire day of fun for my kids!
Its a wonderful park. Easy walking trails and beautiful lakes. Just a great place to go.
