This is a beautiful place to have a picnic and see a waterfall. The view is worth the winding drive. The parking area is on the right after the sign that reads Nantahala parking area or overview. Its one of those big brown state park signs. GPS will take you to a different area. You will go down a hill to get there. They have bathrooms and a good view for those who are disabled.
Great place to hike, trail's were well marked and we'll maintained. I love this Park system. South Carolina is awesome.
Did a moderate home and a difficult hike. Both were appropriately labeled. Beautiful waterfalls and views!
Absolutely great hiking area loaded with waterfalls and great views, especially when it's leaf off
This location is beautifully wild but easily accessible. There is ample parking along the road but fills up in the morning. The Brook is right off the road. WE have had DNR check our licenses several times so be aware.
