Mark is an excellent CPA with a high attention to detail. He looks at numerous angles and works with his clients to form the best strategy for their particular tax situation. I am also impressed with his follow up even after he has sent off the tax return. He checks back with you frequently to ensure your return process is completed as well as give you updates on the process. He is very sharp, articulate and if he does not know the answer to a question or a problem he will research it and find a solution or an answer in a timely manner. I highly recommend him and he will continue to be my accountant for the foreseeable future.

We presented him with a complex tax return involving joint filing with employers in multiple states, sale of out of state property, foreign rental property and more. We are thankful for his dedication to our return even after it was sent off, commitment to completing the job until every refund penny was received, and peace of mind he afforded as he was on top of the process each step of the way. I spoke with Mark on the phone and was surprised he took my call not ever having done business with him. He had written an article on the deductions under form I-335 for South Carolina tax payers and I had a few questions. I did not agree with my current tax preparers reason on not being able to use the above mentioned form and deduction. Mark was articulate, and gave answers backed up with experience and gave the reasons behind his answers rather than just a yes or no. While he admitted I had some valid points he indicated it was not something he recommend I do and that this area could use clarification. How refreshing to speak with someone who knows their craft well and is willing to share their knowledge to help others. He is at the top of my list if I ever need to switch tax preparers.
