I could not get a response or retrieve tax information or receipts dropped off for review. I was supposed to receive a phone call the next day, it has been 2 years. Just preparers definitely not experts or professional. Be aware. The only reason I left one star is because it was required to leave a review. Other than that I would choose a -0. If you have reservations about using Cox Tax Services LISTEN!!!!!!!!

I do not recommend coming here for your taxes. Made an appointment for 11:00am, wasn’t called back until after 1:00pm. After giving my fiancé’s w-2 forms was told he’d have to call back the following Tuesday and come back with birth certificate. Went back into the waiting area to sit while my sister had her taxes done, she had an appointment for the same time and still hadn’t been called back by 2:00pm. During this time he decided it wasn’t worth the hassle of driving to Manning considering he lives and works in another city. I went up and requested the forms back, was finally brought back and told it would be $20.00 because they had already started “processing” them. I asked how that was whenever I had not had everything they needed to file supposedly. Also signed absolutely nothing legally binding him or his forms to them. (Considering he was at work and not present.) Stated this and her entire attitude changed. She shoved the papers back except for the copy of his driver’s license and social security card. I proceeded to say I’d like that copy back as well, she then snatched it off of the file it was stapled to, crumpled it up and said she would shred it. Umm I think not. I told her I’d still like it back and she then says okay and shoves it to me. I left peacefully, and I was polite the entire time. This is NOT how you run a business.
