I love this place. We ate outside in the recently created patio. The patio is small but cozy. We ordered a 50/50 pizza half Chicago half New York. It was kinda busy but our to go order was ready in about 15-20. We took the extra time to have beer. They were super affordable. I think our tab...yes they ran us a tab (uncommon nowadays) came out to around $30. Three beer and an XXL pizza what more could you want.....oh and the pizza was awesome.
When I ordered the XXL New Yorker, my thoughts were it's a stunt pizza (big size/lacking flavor) boy was I wrong. Not only is this pizza going to feed your entire neighborhood, it's delicious. The combination is phenomenal, the ricotta seems like an odd choice but it brings the entire pie together. The $30+ price tag is definitely worth it.
Pizza was tasty but seemed like forever to have it delivered to our table. Was surprised when paying for our order when a 4% surcharge was added because we paid with credit card. When questioned about this the cashier pointed to a small sign near the register. This charge should not be added to the bill but added into the price of the meal. For this small issue we will not be returning .
The website is quirky, but the pizza makes up for it.
Amazing pizza and tasty salads. Huge variety of toppings and pizza sizes. Expect a 4% fee if paying by card. I'll definitely go back but with cash next time.
