Genesis Health Clubs - South Tulsa

Positives: Lots of equipment. Lockers are nice and towel service is a nice plus. Front desk staff is friendly. Price is reasonable.nnNegatives: Parking lot is bad. Hard to park and is difficult to navigate when people park poorly. The gym is kept too warm.

Love this gym. I was nervous when ownership switched to Genesis, but I have not been disappointed. I typically go first thing in the morning, and even if it is busy, there’s so many machines and equipment that it’s never hard to get a workout done.

Sky is unquestionably the best gym in Tulsa. They have all the machines that you’d want in a gym, but more importantly, their customer service/relations are out of this world. Every worker you’ll talk to will be pleased to help and will do so with an unforced smile on their face (unlike other places). Special shoutout to Paul who was an amazing concierge and who would always be available to assist with any of my concerns. In fact I’ve seen him run to accommodate a guest seeking services even when he was off duty. Also, shoutout to Ari who’s insanely kind and a pleasure to talk with and to Caleb who’s just an absolute baller. All in all, great gym, even better people.

The gym is great but the bathroom lotion smells like somebody's grandma.nnI guess Genesis bought out this sky gym location, most everything still says sky except the sign outside. This location is a bit too busy but over all it's clean and constantly has ppl working to keep it clean bc it's so busy. Masks are required unless someone is working out, in my opinion there probably isn't enough space between all the equipment but certain times are busier than others.nnFyi, the times on Google are wrong and I was inconvenienced with having to leave early because the website times are incorrect. They close at 9 on Friday's, not 10, I would suggest calling Genesis before going in late to see if they're really open. I left and went to Planet fitness to finish my workout when this happened tonight, I never had a problem with their billing and they're cheaper, js.nnAlso, Genesis owes me a month of membership fees for when they shut down for covid back in March 2020 and they won't refund it to me and the way they get out of doing this is by not pro rating my membership bill which I pay in full every November and they wont return my emails or calls in regards to my refund requests. I left a review mentioning this on another Genesis location and they commented back saying email us and I did but Genesis never responded lol. You guys owe me 50.00 for daycare and membership and I have contacted corporate several times, Genesis is not very ethical and their customer service is poor and I know others with similar billing issues. Don't let Genesis draft from your account if you get a membership, I previously did this only for daycare! I reported Genesis for fraud 3 times and requested a refund from Amex for daycare and they refunded it 3 times because I asked Genesis to stop drafting for daycare every month for 4 months and to refund me for the month they shut down but they never did. Eventually I had to have Amex block any charges from Genesis because of Genesis wouldn't stop taking my money and every now and then Genesis calls me asking for 38.00 for a month of daycare and I have to explain this entire story.nnToday is 1/25/21 I got the same response last time I contacted you all by review on the Memorial location and I did email that exact email address over a month ago and to date never received a response. Sorry but you guys suck for this.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Wide variety of classes and weight machines.
