I saw this on a website and decided to drive down and spend a night. The old rock buildings are very cool looking and it seems to have a renovation going on. The sandy beach is pretty amazing and the disc golf courses may be the best I’ve ever seen. There are a lot of trails for horse back riding, mountain biking, and hiking. It’s probably about a square mile in size with baseball fields and an arena named for one of the world champion cowboys from there... Jim Shoulders. The other is Troy Aikman. It has a designated RV area on the west side of the lake but lots of camping spots all around along with a couple of floating docks.nnThis place is definitely going to be on my radar for future over night trips as it’s only about an hour drive south of Tulsa.
